About this Speaker
Margie is a self-professed sustainability geek. She holds Masters degrees in Environmental Science and Public Policy and for the last 25 years has been working to help humans be better caretakers of the Earth through smart policy, advocacy, and program design and implementation. She has worked at the national level in the US as a consultant to EPA and DOE, at the municipal level analyzing programs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and at the local level, as co-founder of GreenTown Los Altos, designing and running programs to heighten environmental awareness and inspire action.
